It scares me that Intel will have 4 0 .18 micron fabs running next year. With Celeron die sizes of 80mm2 that translates to HUGE volumes of celerys.

Sure hope the consumers want high end chips rather than lower end chips.

Otherwise sayonara to higher stock prices to both Intel and AMD.


Yep, there's a real possibility of a bloodbath. AMD should put the Dresden fab on hold, but I'm sure they won't.

It's going to get ugly.
