yeah, did you also read the part on the bottom of bill fleck's columns that relate to today's market looking exactly like the crash of 1929 about to happen ?
also, you guys always talk about getting additional analyst coverage and how important that is. let me ask you this. lets say you were an analyst that covers aol, yhoo, rnwk, lcos, etc.... with buy or strong buy ratings. at the same time you see bill fleckenstein on tv saying that those are the stocks that he sells short. (the same ones that you base your career on telling people to buy) then you see that he is one of the five board directors that make the most important decisions for go2net. what would you do ? whether it be psychological or otherwise, i bet it would have a huge effect.
>>That's the type of person I want making fiscal decisions on the GNET board- not some wild eyed, mid-30's net junkie who's never seen a bear market or doesn't understand the inexorable intertwining of the world's financial relationships!<<
and who is this wild mid 30's aged internet junkie, why would they even consider someone like that for the board if it wasnt bill? that would mean that russell and v.v are stupid if they would pick someone like that.
anyway, the point is that anyone can vote whatever they want on there proxy. i am just trying to relate some information that might or might not make you change your mind. i know what i will do, and i know what all of my fellow investors will do. not vote for him. wait for someone else who is more suited to stand alongside russell and savoy. you know what else. why do they have that column anyway. of the people that own go2net, i bet 99 % of them agree with nothing that he says about tech stocks. if they did they simply would not own them. he is your typical short artist. all he ever talks about is how overvalued and ridiculously priced these stocks are. then gets on tv and says how he shorts them. this is the same guy that will be making decisions for go2net going forward. you think are stock price is suffering now ? add a bear to the board, im sure that will help ! |
