Jim - Tomorrow will complete ONE FULL YEAR since GE released their non-US Standards Claim of 6.4M proven ounces of gold.

As for GE thinking they have to release the BD report, I agree, I don't think GE will be releasing the BD report information because they think they MUST. It could be one very long time before shareholders see a BD summary.

I hope they release the report within a few weeks...it could take much longer than that, could be never. They may want to time the release with their hope of getting back on the BB. That may never happen. It may take shareholder pressure to get the audit results out of GE.

The company excuse may be that they can't release much information from the Audit because they are afraid. Just as Probart said, You know what happened when they where rash and just went straight ahead with the release last year. I saw the same thing come out of another GE A-team type yesterday, as well as a statement that GE does not have to release the BD report in any given time frame, (if at all).

GE should be a able to summarize a consultant's report for the shareholders without fear of retribution from the SEC. The culpability for the information contained lies on the Consultant not GE, UNLESS GE decides to interpret the Audit results in such a manner as to raise the ire of the SEC.

The only problem I see for GE is if they spin BD's results positively, too much.

Almost a full wasted year because GE management is inexperienced, uneducated and thinks that it does not have follow the rules.

GE actually filed a financial on time! Weren't some of the A-team pleased. Amazing what having your ass ridden by the SEC for a year can do for a company!!!!!!!!!!!!
