Respectfully, you need to learn more about this company. First, most of net2phones custommers are foreign. That is because monoplies still exist in most foreign Countries and the savings are HUGE for them. So, net2phone is not stuck between a rock and anything. Rather, they are in the drivers seat. Secondly, if your sound quality was poor from your pc. There was probably a good reason. You didn't tell us what steps (such as calling customer service you took). In most cases though it is either because you are hearing your own echo (get a good headset) or you have a cheap mike or, your sound card is not fully duplex. Net2phones claim to fame though is phone to phone. The quality is almost imperceptable. If you live in a city where they have a POP. You simply dial into it and dial your access code and number. If you do not, they will give you an 800 number.

Finally, lets face it. Phone calls in the State are going to be free in the future. You will either get them for an added monthly premium through your cable company or through your ISP (such as AOL) one of which is already owned by AT&T and the other which will probably be owned by the baby bells.
