BIOMETRIC SECURITY CORP.
("BMS-V;BMSX-L") - Biometric Identification, Inc.
Announces Breakthrough in Biometrics - 'Image Sensor
Interoperability (ISI(tm))'

Patrick W. McCleery, President of Biometric Security
Corp. is pleased to report that Biometric Identification,
Inc. (Biometric ID), a leading provider of fingerprint identification systems, has solidified its position
as the top developer of real-world biometric solutions by announcing that its extensive product line
will now provide true Image Sensor Interoperability (ISI(tm)). ISI(tm) makes reliable biometric
security possible with just the touch of a finger on any available sensor device-silicon or optical-that
has received approval from Biometric ID.

"The preliminary response to this technology has been overwhelmingly positive," said Biometric ID's
President and CEO Bob Kamm. "Our OEM (original equipment manufacturer) clients are
extremely enthusiastic about the flexibility and convenience ISI(tm) brings to their integrated
biometric solutions. Without question they find it very reassuring not to be bound to any one sensor
manufacturer or type of imaging hardware."

Biometric ID's patented fingerprint verification algorithm, Ridge Recognition(, is a key component of
ISI( capability. Ridge Recognition(tm) leverages 20 years of experience designing high-tech systems
for the US Department of Defense. It provides a revolutionary, "data rich" approach to comparing
the entire ridge pattern of the fingerprint. This unique method allows the system to adjust for
real-world conditions such as the effects of swollen, aged, dirty, scarred or cut fingers, the main
pitfalls of other technologies.

Robust and reliable, ISI(tm) is dependent in part on the system's ability to cope with varying sensor
sizes and imaging techniques. The data rich nature of Ridge Recognition(tm) allows the system to
maintain its accuracy, even as the size of the image captured by the silicon devices continues to
become increasingly smaller in response to user demands for more compact and affordable image
capture solutions. This is unlike traditional minutia systems that were designed to work with large
optical sensors; smaller sensors provide substantially fewer minutia and correspondingly reduced
accuracy.

Biometric ID's ISI(tm) is available throughout its product line, in solutions ranging from stand-alone
biometric verification devices to PCs and peripheral devices that rely on the host computer to
perform the biometric verification. Before approving a sensor for integration into its product line,
Biometric ID subjects the sensor to an extensive independent test that consists of over 30 criteria
including ESD, image capture quality, durability, hardness, packaging and power. The company
currently supports silicon-based devices from Infineon-Siemens, AuthenTec, ST MicroElectronics,
Thomson CSF and Veridicom, as well as numerous optical devices.

Biometric ID systems are installed at national banks, two large legislative branches, Fortune 500
organizations and government institutions. The company has customized its OEM hardware and
software solutions to the unique characteristics of the major sensor vendors.

Biometrics is the automated identification of an individual based on their unique physiological
features. In a large percentage of the world marketplace, biometrics is manifesting itself in fingerprint
verification and authorization technologies for office and home security, building access control, time
and attendance systems, smart card and point of sale terminals, electronic commerce systems,
computer networks and mobile communication devices.
