My neighbor is homeschooling an eighth grader, a very delicate, frail blonde, who was being slammed around by bigger, tougher girls. I know people who homeschooled highschoolers but they are all in New Orleans. All the kids went to college, and seemed ok to me, in fact, much better than ok. Like miniature adults, when they were still teenagers. Mature. Respectful. Witty. I think I am going to put mine in Catholic school. A lot of lawyers I know did that, including some not Catholic. I understand that Judge Valentine's daughter told him, after the first day of school, "dad, we made the right decision. I haven't heard the f-word all day."
