Why can't you dump it right now? If you think this stock is going to drop like a rock you should get out NOW to minimize your losses. But if you think this stock is going to rebound a bit and you are waiting until then to dump it to reduce your losses, you could buy some now and do some averaging. This would reduce your break-even point. You might have to wait a long time to get it back to 108 (split adjusted). If you bought an equal number of shares at 38 you would only have to see it get back to 46 before you broke even (disregarding transaction expenses).
