I think this offering is a good thing. I talked to Cindy today in investor relations. They are doing the deal because the stock is up and they are taking advantage of the excellent market conditions. The funds will be used for network expansions within the Circe rings and to lease/purchase additional trans atlantic capacity. Also, it is not a done deal by any stretch - if the market turns south and the price falls, the deal is off. This was just a filing today.

And besides, Morgan Stanley's managing the deal - top equity firm on the street. I'm betting there are a number of money managers clammering for a nice chunk of this company without going to the open market. They will have no problem placing the stock. The stock held up great today - it's where it was day before yesterday. It got support because people realize the company is just being aggressive (which it must be in its market), the placement is in good hands (Morgan is simply the best), and they know that this is just a bump on a long road higher (valuation is still relatively low and potential could not be higher).

Just relax people.
