Right on Dee Jay,

I think some of the people on this thread are getting distracted by the underbrush and occasional boulders in this journey and are missing the fact that we are in a beautiful forest called MRVC. Pending interest rate changes or problems in other networking companies or foreign exchange rates are just distractions.

If I may, I'd like to make an analogy to a basketball problem my son had last summer. Hope its helpful and not boring.

My son played on an AAU basketball team that went to nationals last year. During the regular season he played small forward because he shoots well and can dribble well enough to drive to the basket when a lane is open. When the AAU team was organized, he began playing at the 3 position (small forward) but as the season progressed the coach started moving him to the 4 position (strong forward) because he is tall and because of behind the scenes parent pressure on the coach to make room for their short kids to play. Grant hates to play down low and began to get frustrated. By the time they got to the state tournament he had become tentative and was only averaging about 8 points per game whereas during the regular season he had been the dominate player in the league, averaging 30 points per game. Lon Kruger, the former U of Fla and now Illinois head coach, had a son on the team. I asked Lon for help in getting Grant back to his former game and Lon had a very simple observation which he shared with me and my son. He said Grant needs to realize that a shot is a shot and it doesn't matter whether he is playing the 3 or the 4, when he has the shot it's the same shot.

This is how I feel about MRVC. A great company is a great company. The surrounding circumstances don't really matter that much. They are in the right place at the right time with the right products and ultimately it will all work out if they just keep playing their game. They'll get their shots and they'll make them and eventually the scores and record will reflect it. Sure they are a little off the radar screen right now but I get the feeling from Mike's conversaton with Noam that the "coach" wants it that way for a while.

Stay long,

Bob
