I don't know if a potential buyer would be a competitor - unless they purchased the goodwill only - There's no point really. If I was Ingram (for example) - I know that I have the $ in the bank to put them out of business - perhaps a potential buyer would be some company on the periphary of the industry - looking for a way in & a ready-made distribution channel. I have no idea what their plans are - but rumour has it that they are running their inventory levels down considerably - cleaning house?
