Further up the coast in British Columbia, the Provincial Government has issued hunting licenses allowing for the killing of 1500 Grizzly bears this year.

Most of these hunters are non-native. And many of them come from the United States.

If these bear killers were exclusively First Nations people(Indians, Native Americans, etc.) I bet there would be a huge outcry. As things stand there is little opposition to this annual slaughter of an endangered species. Whales are cool. Bears are cool. Recreational hunters are the true savages!
