Please tell me where you have heard about "a program that searches your hard drive and reports to the company using WAVX software the web sites you have visited", or that WAVX "will sell the software to anyone who wants it and someone visiting a web site that employs the software would invade your privacy without your knowledge."
EMBASSY [Wave's product, in case you were unaware of that] keeps your personal information resident on your computer/STB/SmartCard/[whatever platform you have purchased]. That personal information includes a line of credit [either through credit card authorization or pre-payment] and encryption key.
When you purchase something, either online or offline, from a Wave enabled vendor, EMBASSY is queried to verify that you have funds available. If you do, EMBASSY is used to decrypt the digital product you have just purchased. WAVE is the clearing house for that purchase.
They need to know how much of what you bought. If you prefer, you can prevent Wave from passing on who you are but, for obvious commercial reasons, they have to know WHAT you bought, and for how much, so they can pay the vendor.
They don't "sniff" URL's that you have visited, and they don't sell software that allows others to "sniff" URL's.
I realize that you may not care about any of this, but there may be some relatively new investors that read this board, and I'd rather they knew the truth, not the fabrications that you are spouting.
And no, I'm not going to threaten you with SEC or legal hassles, because, quite frankly, I don't think you are worth that much effort.
