Glenn, >> How come you are not using the value of the stock used for acquisitions as part of the cost? Because that stock was just a gift to their friends and associates. It has no contribution to the ability to sell books, etc.... If you were starting a new on-line book store, you don't need to spend $600 m for a rare manuscript catalog.
