The following Bloomberg squib (commenting on a Forbes piece) from a couple days ago hasn't been mentioned here, but has potentially interesting ramifications for EGGS. << CompUSA Inc. Chief Executive James Halpin said he'll announce within six weeks a store makeover that will likely showcase electronics besides computers.... The computer retailer's CompUSA Net.com online unit, which competes with Egghead.com Inc. and Onsale Inc., is being restructured under Halpin's plan and may sell shares to the public....> On the one hand, the restructuring might increase the intensity of competition for the company. On the other hand, a spin off might increase interest in the sector and be good for the stock. Anaxagoras
