Re the Korean order this AM: "The systems will be connected to the service provider's SS7 network as an "intelligent peripheral" compliant with international standards to provide a variety of enhanced network services applications." This is where the future lies. SS7 is THE only way the coming digital age can happen. One needs to have this technology in place to be able to transfer voice and data over the same line. When you get call forwrding, or any other extra add on with your phone and wireless service, it is SS7 technology that allows this to happen. As CLEC's become more available due to deregulation, this technology is what will drive the competitive nature of these businesses. Due diligence on TKLC. this is where the golden-paved road will lead. Think CSCO, and you will be close. Still long on PERI, still bored with management.
