We have the same kind of "Kosovo" problem here
in California. Early Americans were tribes that
migrated about 10-15,000 years ago. The Spanish
came in the 1700s and conquered the Indians. Then
after the Mexican Revolution, California was inde-
pendent for about 10 years when the Mexican Army
came and conquered California. Later, Mexico was
attacked by the United States and California was
annexed. Now the birthrate in California is about
8 of 10 babies being Hispanic decent, to parents
who speak spanish. The voters have tried to force
them to become "Americans" and speak english. They
on the other hand resist these attempts to take
away their language, culture, and history.
Of course one day this means that there will be a
civil war. Already the battle lines are being drawn
in the courts, schools, and votes. Americans are
so arrogant that they believe they can teach others
the American Way through bombs. We are fools.
