Well, you have the stock and I have the investor's package! I was really excited about Zila; the investor's package is very impressive, particularly the global aspects of their business, especially in Asia. As Red Chip Review points out in their coverage, there is an enormous number of smokers in Asia, and Zila has the very most effective test. Dentists seem to like it also, and the company markets over-the-counter mouth hygiene products like quick flossing picks, etc. If I did buy it, I would definitely do it long term, as I believe the Asian and European markets for 40-and-over adults who smoked at any time during their lives, which is the target market, is truly huge (and don't forget that as smoking declines here, American marketing targets Europe and Asia, where smoking is becoming much more acceptable among women). Having said all that, recently the Zila thread here seemed to end with the rumor that a company official was holed up in NY or somewhere, negotiating for a large pharmaceutical affiliation after Zila was dropped by Bayer (I believe). So I really don't know what's happening right now, and would certainly like to find out before I go ahead and invest. Help, anyone? |
