I tested simultaneous access to a number of sites,(including Fidelity just to be sure ;-) over a dial-up 28.8 connection and results were variable. Sometimes ICA was faster, sometimes not. It appears that ICA draws .gif files one screen-line at a time, so Peter still crawls down the screen. I used a resident copy of Explorer 5.0 that I found elsewhere on their server against a local copy of Explorer 4.0 on my PC. Clearly not a scientific test, as the two copies of Explorer 4.0 needed to run both windows on one PC are sharing local resources. It did appear to reach www.cisco.com about 30% faster but I'd demur on any conclusions drawn. There are too many unknowns in my faux test, i.e. what's the back-end Internet port, local resource contention, number of routers/hops to the net and site, etc. Interesting thought though. Might be worthy of a controlled environment test. Thanks. dd Oh, and just for fun - I reset the local server-based Explorer to default to www.citrix.com ;-)
