KYA27,

It wasn't Haim on the Yahoo boards, it was me and the logic still holds regarding splits and historical stock prices.

Bottomline, based on todays outstanding number of shares in both corporations, LU and NT were trading at approximately the same share price of $28 in October of 1998.

Comparing the relative perfomance of the two companies since October of 1998, LU has gone from ~$28 to ~$58 today, while NT has gone from ~$28 to ~$78.

And, if NT were to split today, say 2:1, the relative performance would be ~$14 to ~$39, but it doesn't change the percent return of the period involved.

Regards,

Lerxst
