After my post about you buying at $36 I read the prior post that you were replying to. So now I understand. Between now and more news, it is possible the stock will see $25.

Could someone give me an unemotional, rational, opinion as to why IDTC will be different from ZD after ZDZ was split off? Or MALL after UBID split off? In fairness, ZD gained about $8 - 9 the day of IPO, but crashed from $29 or so to current $13. I'd like to know why IDTC, which has run up from as low as $13 or less to over $30 and back to $27 on long term speculation of IPO, should go higher.

I understand and respect the concept that they'll own around 66% of IPO; the IPO will probably double, and rationally, IDTC should be worth more.

I could also argue that the anticipated value of NTOP could already be built into IDTC price. Reality is that MALL, ZD and others have had market caps lower than the value of just their IPO holdings (post IPO). So I'm looking for a rational, non-flaming answer as to why IDTC will act differently.

I'll even listen to Hawaii if it makes sense. Hey, I'm just trying to make a profit. I've said many times I like IDTC's management and business. But I also am a strong believer that history repeats itself, and I don't make the same mistakes too many times.
