What you say is essentially true.

On the flip side, the money that Intel invests is, in all candor, SHAREHOLDER MONEY.

My point is that Intel needs to address every possible way of INCREASING SHAREHOLDER VALUE.

Using that investment fund to directly benefit shareholders is a legitimate use of our money - but we are not realizing any immediate benefit from those investments.
