PICKSat in Agreement to Broadcast HouseHold Direct Content and Services

MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 21, 1999--PICKSat Inc., a subsidiary of PICK Communications Corp. (OTCBB:PICK - news), has begun broadcasts to demonstrate Household Direct's (OTCBB:RDIM - news) previously announced satellite delivered Web services. Following the signing of an agreement to demonstrate HouseHold Direct (www.householddirect.com) content on the satellite-based, Internet Protocol (IP) based platform, the two companies pledged to move forward quickly to bring the demonstrations to a commercial service as soon as possible.

PICKSat Inc., provides satellite-based Internet access and interactive multimedia services to various types of clients. HouseHold Direct is looking to bring its members a new and convenient way to purchase goods through the use of the Internet and e commerce. The decision to work with PICKSat came from the fact that the PICKSat platform would offer HouseHold Direct members a fast and efficient means of accessing the Internet, shopping by viewing TV quality videos and ordering via the Web.

HouseHold Direct and PICKSat will be working closely together to take full advantage of the technology being brought together to make services convenient and accessible to HouseHold Direct members. Mario J. Pino, president of PICKSat, stated ''Our goal is to show the capabilities of our platform with a client as important as HouseHold Direct. They have an incredible service already and we can make the service reach more members in a satellite or cable TV delivered Web format.''

PICKSat will demonstrate reception of HouseHold Direct web pages and full-motion TV quality videos on several PC Set Top box reception boxes that are non-proprietary and open standard. This means that HouseHold Direct members will be able to access satellite delivered services through readily available PCs, the new lower cost PC Set Top box and either satellite of cable TV reception PCI cards.

''We are encouraged to be working with PICKSat and looking forward towards an evaluation of their platform services and how we can work together to serve HouseHold Direct members with very advanced Web based services,'' remarked John Folger, President of HouseHold Direct.
