larry.....let's not confuse the reality of the business world with "facts.. analysts are sheep, gerstner and platt have trumped dell with the latest spin...look at the cause and effect...simple: pc dead....dell down in spite of "facts" to the contrary pc dead....ibm and hwp up...why, because they don't need to build pc's anymore...they are much more then a "white box maker"...or much more then dell... true or not doesn't matter, they have won this round and could have possibly slowed dells non-organic growth through m&a with increased dell stock price, and make the market question the organic expansion....meanwhile ibm looking at data general...investment bankers got their nose up gerstner...he has crowned himself king... in this case: FACTS HAVE NAUGHT TO DO WITH THE REALITY THAT HAS BEEN CREATED!!!!
