Joe, We are on the eve of what is known in Canada as the Victoria Day weekend. Over this weekend Canuks across the country join together to celebrate the greatness of Queen Victoria. As part of the celebrations we tend to flock to the great outdoors and lie about in a drunken state enjoys the first thin warm rays of the spring sun. Because our laws require that beer and booze are sold out of government controlled establishments, we must spend the friday previous to the long weekend loading up on our "two-fours" and "Mickeys". As a added bonus, this year, a Canadian based hockey team (THE TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS)is still in the hunt for the THE STANLEY CUP. This combined with the long weekend is a great excuse IMHO to enjoy the Canadian Identity. I am assuming that this is the reason for the lack of massive buying of Madison stock in Canada. I do not have a reason for the lack of interest south of the border. moosie
