Is the fact that Corrillian is a middleman meaningful, since CKFR gets the presentment/payment processing volumes regardless? CKFR still gets the money for processing, good middleware can help create volume by enhancing delivery and user experience. What, in your opinion, is the problem Intuit has with dealing directly with CKFR?? Or, is it the other way around?? Problem?! There is no problem. OFX is required in order to have a common message set to communicate. Corillian simple provides the best possible middleware that the two companies can use to communicate. Whether the web site that a customer comes to for their bills is a Portal (Quicken.com) or Bank, both require a aggragation server to move presentment out to the customer, then enable the return trip for payment. Sounds easier than it is.
