Another poster on the RB site who attended the meeting last week actually spoke with DW regarding MSGI and here is the post:

MSGI...DW said in Andover..

First of all I want to clarify what DW did NOT say in Andover concerning MSGI since I was the one who asked him a question about it. He did not say"this was not the type of business that he wanted CMGI to focus on and hence the sale." He did not say "he didn't care for it as a core business." I was there and took decent notes and he just didn't say those things!

What he did say was Ed Mullen, MSGI's new president has worked for CMGI and has been at all the CMGI board meetings and that he will make a great president! DW also said he sold CMG Direct to MSGI so that CMGI could have a 15% stake in MSGI. He also said that GE Capital was an investor in MSGI and that MSGI would have the capital it needs to buy more companies.

IMHO MSGI is and will be a great company! It is estimated that the leading infomediary will probably have a market cap of 20 billion within the next 5 years. MSGI is 5 times closer to turning a profit than Doubleclick and it can tap into the CMGI brain trust for help anytime. Have you looked at what Permission Plus does? You give them permission to direct market to you about something you already want and need like diapers. They will send you downloadable coupons with bar codes that you can bring to a store and get money off a purchase. Who wouldn't want that? There are 5 more companies that also do excellent advertising related things. Please go to CMGIOT board and read posts #11875, #11873, #11882, #11860 , #11800, and #12533. There is also a top ten list regarding why you should buy and hold this mini-creature somewhere on the MSGI board that is a must for anyone thinking about buying this stock. I hope this helps all who are long on MSGI as I am. I have more shares of this than anything else in my portfolio because IMHO advertising and marketing are where most of the internet companies will generate revenue in the future. I'm betting this will happen for a very long time.
Good luck to all! Redheads
