Teflon, If you are interested in selling July puts, you are better off waiting for a couple of weeks. The trial starts the week after next (june 1), and a lot of investors may be expecting negative courtroom theatrics. It is the "expectation" of this that may be a driving force in the price for the next 1 to 2 weeks. We might still get a wave of selling into the trial. At least the odds are greater than having a major rally in MSFT over this same period. I expect it to stay within the 75 to 82 range. I am waiting to buy calls---have decided to wait for 76 or so before getting aggressive in options but I am evaluating on a daily basis (77 was my previous options buying point).
We are going to get a major run-up but I think it will be swift--middle to late June to earnings release.

No settlement is expected before June 1---so why not wait?
