If being tied into the Internet nowadays is akin to oil in days gone by then maybe they did strike oil. I guess time will tell. But as I see it - I own it - so it has to be a GOOF.

TREEV, Inc. (Nasdaq: TREV - news), announced today that its Business Alliance Partner BISYS Bank Information Solutions (Nasdaq: BSYS - news) has sold TREEV's DocuTREEV imaging engine to Net.B@nk (Nasdaq: NTBK - news),the nation's largest federal savings bank to operate exclusively through the Internet with assets of over 1.5 billion.

Net.B@nk was at the forefront of Internet banking when it opened its virtual doors in 1996. By 1998, Net.B@nk had become the defining company in Internet banking, being the only full-service bank operating exclusively on the Internet, with over 85% of its clients coming directly from the Internet. Net.B@nk will use the DocuTREEV imaging engine in its deposit services department, to store imaged files of hard-copy documents such as signature cards, correspondence, credit reports, lending files and employment verification for over 30,000 accounts.
