It's like pregnancy. You either believe in the principle of the rule of law (not meaning you never break a law, but when you do, you accept the consequences) or you don't. Believing in law when it's convenient but not when it's not is anarchy, not law

By your definition, you will be surprised that a lot of people are pro-anarchy.

It is the alternative to dueling. Without law, everyone is free to rob, kill, bomb, anybody they want for any reason they can justify to themselves.

On the other hand, in human history there are a lot of great men, or criminals depending which angle you are looking at, broke law to achieve what they believe in.

Let's agree on another thing: new born children in maternity wards in hospitals don't deserve to die.

There got to be some US soldiers in WW 2 who did some terrible things, so should we let Hitler do whatever he liked?
