They're going up to Raglan soon...I hear they'll be drilling this yr.

NovaWest Resources Inc. ( the "Company") "Symbol NVE-VSE", is pleased to announce that the Company is in receipt of $100,000 in grant funds from the Ministry of Naturelles Ressources, Quebec with respect to exploration carried out on the Company's Raglan Project. The Company expects to apply these funds towards further exploration on its properties in 1999.

The Company has received notice that the vendor of five of the Company's Raglan properties is negotiating an agreement with a third party for the vendor's interest in Net Smelter Returns pertaining to the five of Novawest's Raglan properties. Persuant to the terms of the underlying agreement between Novawest and the vendor, the vendor has offered the Company the first right of refusal prior to concluding it's agreement with the third party. The Company is taking the offer into consideration and upon review of certain information, yet to be received, supporting the third party offer and valuation the Company will make a decision whether the accept or decline the vendors offer.
