Time for a much needed dose of optimism on this thread:

If one really thinks about it, there is NO WAY that CUBE does not significantly beat Q2 earnings estimates by 20%-30% (est. $.28, my est. $.35). And why?

There is not one product line of CUBE's that is not doing well now - and that includes the "dying" VCD market in China.

The Chinese market, from everything I have read, continues to click along nicely. VCD sales, especially the SVCD, are doing fine. At the worst, they're flat from last quarter.

The DVD sector? What needs to said - seriously. This market is taking off wholesale. Period. And I think it's stronger than even the upgraded rosiest predictions. And I arrive at this conclusion using the "Peter Lynch" method. Where I live, ALL the discount consumer electronic stores are SOLD OUT of both high-end and low-end DVD players. SOLD OUT! And I live in a very large city (which will remain nameless).

The CODEC's? Are they not shipping now? One has to figure they'll do well going forward.

STB's? Again - what needs to be said except steady growth.

Divicom? Please!

This stock is grossly undervalued and that's NOT a lot of Domino sugar or wishful thinking. It's reality.
