Greta,

Advertisers are very much interested in feline viewers,
provided that they're young urban kitties.

My 10-year-old cat and her 56-year-old litter box
maintenance guy are long past their usefulness to networks
and their advertisers. But we'll eventually be a Nielsen
family again, and that might be a good week for us to take
a hike on network television, except for Squawk Box and
selected other CNBC programming.

It's getting warm and dry at my place, too. Time to drag
out the garden hose.
