You can't. . . presently we must estimate short positions based on when shorts say they are entering and the SIZE of the sells at those levels. . .it is mostly a mental process. . . but it is simple mathematics and logic that says that as a stock with a float that is already dried up, gets a load of NEW buyers, it stands to reason that the direction is upward. . .then as shorts cover it really flies. Shorts not too crazy about this theory tho. And we are never in favor of anyone losing money. It is a give and take market. . .sometimes they give. . .and other times we take. <g> Rande Is
