Stephen O, I don't know that this act makes these fellows savages, but it does show a bit of something we Americans know all too well: a dissatisfaction with who we are today, and an absolutely hopeless desire to return to some pie in the sky past. In Colorado each year the brave "Cowboys" gather together in the "plains" to shoot as many Prairie Dogs as they can, and when "them city slickers" complained and threatened to not bring their business to Denver. They replied using that old saw about "You folks that live in the city cain't tell us country people how to live our lives." They think the Prairie Dogs are either: Injuns, Buffalo, Wolves or I don't know what other creature that the Eurotrash moving west wiped out. Anyway I suppose them Indians in the great white think things will be better if they can slaughter something, anything. Its better than working in the pathetic civilized world.
