Hey, I hear some VARs and resellers have surpassed their quotas this quarter...I wonder if that could translate into better sales revenues for NOVL??

We're offering training workshop for local area VARs and Resellers next week and they are SCREAMING for seats (which we physically don't have). Novell is asking us to have another "bootcamp" for them ASAP.

Last year we couldn't sell this "bootcamp" out, this year, we have a waiting list. I should complain?? NAH....

Well, I'm hoping this is an indication of good things and not just Novell's change in policy regarding VAR and Reseller qualification levels. Novell changed them in an attempt to weed out those who were just holding onto the title but not actually selling NOVL products. See, in this industry, being an NOVL reseller means you know networking (because of staffing requirements for CNEs et al). Some VARs and Resellers were using this to sell other people's products (guess!).

So Novell went off and raised the requirements thus we've seen a large influx of training needs from VARs and Resellers. Nice to know they still want/need to sell Novell products.
