I agree, if Win2K delivers, the mid-range will benefit. The question is how much of that range has not already been sold on NT. Perhaps the folks for whom I work are atypical, but all they're likely to do is upgrade their little farm of baby servers to Win2K (after a few service packs come out, natch <g>). In your work, how many small shops out there are still on Win9x, Netware, or (whew) Win3? How many have moved to something else besides NT? I quit doing IT a few years back and no longer have a good handle on where folks are. -mb
