Anthony, Arguably, nature is truly DIGITAL, not analog; it just depends on where one looks. ie "analog" current is composed of discrete electrons, light is a collection of individual photons, etc. Your argument is interesting from an academic point of view, but not very relevant to the world of engineering. The term "digital" has very specific implications for electrical engineering, which are far removed from quantum mechanics. Scumbria
