From the reporting that I've seen ... any organization that gets funding from MSNBC, including news people, have started acting like an extension of MicroSoft's PR companies.

We have to remember that Novell still has the best technology, the largest user base, and the closest thing to a real implementation of the Public Standard for Distributed Directories. When those assets finally get into the hands of a team that knows how to exploit them effectively ... the upside potential is staggering. Networking Software (esp servers), using Intel products already shipped and installed is a bigger dollar opportunity than all of the Office Suites combined ... no company is better positioned to deliver products for that market opportunity than Novell is right now. There are lots of 'mind games' (Joe's words) being played right now that seem to be causing a lot of confusion among Novell's customers, prospects, investors, ... and sadly it seems employees too. It can't last forever, and only a few months after the confusion starts to clear this stock (I think) will look like a rocket on it's way up.

I'm having difficulty being patient though ... sure would like to see some results that show us that they (Novell management) still have what it takes to get the job done.
