Capt'n,
Seagate just drastically reduced the number of distributors that will carry their product. It was reduced to around 5 from 25, so it was a pretty good whack. Either your distributor must get product from one of the Annointed Ones, or you must do so. Or you must change from Seagate to some other drive. I don't know whether or not Seagate sells direct from the Web yet, I don't think so, but I haven't checked.

I would be very interested to hear what happens with this. I'm sure that this much ballyhooed streamlining is going to reduce some of their complexity and cost. However, I wonder if it will reduce sales even more, as companies like yours find that they must work with another distributor or get another kind of drive. There are a lot drives out there which are competitive with much of SEG's line, and getting more so all the time. Please let me know what you all do.
