Amen to that. See a bid/offer. Click, I'll take that. So obvious!
Why doesnt everyone do this?
It should also direct it to an ECN if thats what you clicked on.

And while we are on the topic of obvious, why cant the software assume the number of shares you want to sell is the number you have? RT3 experience only here, but it always pops up with a default #. 1000 shares of FNHC and 1000 shares of AMZN are slightly different dollar value.
On a similar vein, how about limiting the default # of shares for opening a position to the nearest round lot under your buying power? You could instanly see how many shares you can afford.
