DIEGO: I have not posted here in quite a long time. I have been
"lurking", but found I had very little to contribute. I agree with
your assessment about Reutgers; his reputation onthe street is
outstanding. He is noted for shooting straight. No nonsense, and
he does not mislead analysts or reporters. If he says that the y2k
problem has not nor does it appear that it will affect EMC's sales.
I believe him. I'm not worried about EMC in the long term, but I'm
very suspicious of the overall market in general and tech stocks in
particular. I'm nervous. Maybe I'm getting too conservative to
play options, even LEAPS. My 01's are probably safe ( my strike prices range from 95 to 115), but my 00's are in jeopardy( 5 contracts
with a 105 strike price, and 5 with a 130 stike price) I am pinning
my hopes on the split, and EMC's habit of running up in Q4. Oh well.
Its only money.
Good trading, Diego.
