Amy J, That's a good article, hadn't seen it. About Merced, Craig Barrett said at the stockholders meeting that eight operating systems had been booted successfully on it so far, and that it was on schedule. Of course, that would be the new schedule announced a year ago. Oops, I just noticed I posted about the negative-on-Intel article being a year old to GV, instead of to Paul. E-9 (error on the right fielder). A lot of the negativism on Merced that I can remember seemed to be from the Register, which is hardly a mag to bank on. Tony
