Marden- I tend to agree with you.
However, this is hardly the 'GSM is toast' scenario beloved by the
QCOM stalwarts, such as Caxton Rhodes.

If CDMA (i.e. IS95) is going to be deployed merely as an overlay in cities as GSM capacity is constrained, wont there be a demand for GSM/CDMA dual mode 'phones. No such device exists today, does it?

All in all, things don't appear to be as rosy for QCOM as some would have you believe.
