Sam, I share your frustration about 'helpful' gadgets and software. Examples are MS Word 97's helpful paper clip and MS Money constantly advising me on how to enter my checks. Also, Windows asking if I want to reconnect to my ISP after I have just disconnected. Come to think of it: MS does that kind of thing a lot. Probably some trauma in Gates' youth caused it? Gottfried
