Sitting here alone, reading through the posts, trying to figure out what happened, it feels as though I'm wandering through a civil war battlefield in the slanting, dawn light filtering through the stand of birch and maple. The cannon and musket smoke still drift heavily over the hills scarred with bodies strewn in haywire fashion, stinging the nostrils, disbelieving.
But off in the dim light, the pennant still flutters in the breeze, the SEPR battalion regrouping. Though I'm not a thread leader, I'm proud of the thread's character and mettle. (Don't know why I'm doing this, punchy, I guess). You all are a good group.
