Disappearing novel-length posts. Mabye we were spared! Seriously though, maybe this could work. Next time you 'lose' a post, use 'Find' to see if you can locate it among your cache files somewhere. You'd need to enter something in the 'Containint text' box and . in the file name box. If you did find your post this way, open it with NOTEPAD and paste it where needed. I have NOT tried this, so I don't know if it'll work, but it's very little effort, and if it does work, could save you lots of typing. Cheers, PW. P.S. If anyone tries this and it works, please let us know. P.P.S. I tried this between 'preview' and 'publish' on SI. I did a search on 'novel-length' and found this post in the folder 'C:\WINDOWS\Temporary Internet Files\QRSTHDEO\perview-9911720 Clicking the file in 'Find' opened the post in another window. I could've done a 'cut-and-paste' if needed.
