I would be very interested in your sources of information. The Souix migrated from the forests around present day Wisconsin as the Lakota and crossed the plains to what is now North and South Dakota. They modified their name to Dakota to distingush theirselves from the few clans left behind. To my knowledge, there is no record of violence involved. The Iriquois Nation consisted of five tribes. The Oneida,Onandaga and Cayugas did the farming while the Mohawks protected the eastern flank and the Seneca protected the west. The Erie and Tuscarora joined the federation later at their own request.Yes, they had a running feud with the Hurons but, most battles were settled by counting coup. The really bloody battles came with the the infringence on their land by the whites and intensified during the revolutionary War and the French and Indian war.I wonder who got their dander up?

I don't know a whole lot about the Aztecs and less about the Incas.Prior to the appearance of white men, I don't think any body else does either.
When I defend the Native Americans,I am speaking of the times before the white men arrived in the respective areas. For instance, the people did not scalp until the French requested it to compute the bounty to be paid for dead Englishmen. It's kinda like cutting off the ears of a coyote in order to collect the bounty.

I respectfully disagree with you. Prove that my statements are "patently"false.
