Jill,

Hope you do know this before you keep your investment in QCOM. There is one highly regarded scientist named Dr. William Lee. His contribution to CDMA research efforts can be regarded as highly as Dr. Vietebi, QCOM's vice chairman. He is a foreign-borne scientist turned US citizen. He used to be a JPL researcher just like Dr. J. and Dr. V in early Cold War era. He had to travel all over the world (China, Korea, Taiwan, Japan included) to attend CDMA conferences in earlier days.

He can be called a Chinese spy too if anyone wants to play a political game on him. Of course, it does not mean the other Dr. Lee from L.A. Nuclear Lab did not leak secrets to the Chinese. However, he and that Loral's scientist did not even get charged with anything yet? How good is our US legal system now to have people like Mr. Limbaugh spreading rumors (spy theory) ahead of time before anything settled?

Without Dr. William Lee, Dr.J's and Dr. V's contributions, I do not think you will invest into QCOM at this time.

Best,

Brian H.
