Thanks, Tim. I recall the issue too. For certain modes of power delivery, normal 90 volts was in violation of code, if I recall correctly. They needed to scale down to 24 or 40 volts, maybe 60? (something lower, in any event) at the time. My memory, likewise, is not clear on this. Maybe someone else can recall? These issues were being thrashed out when the legality of a modified ground wire use was being considered. Or am I mistaken on this? A lot's happened since.
