I like this objective evaluation. One thing isn't being included and it can't be. That is that if there is a change in mood without an increase in the total demand for gold, holders of physical and shares hold on rather than let go. It is the refusal to sell that gets the bull market in gear, not the increase in demand. A marginal demand with no selling which is often the state called "sold out market". can revive the desire to buy and increase both marginal demand and refusal to supply. This double leverage has the greatest effect in a psychology dominated market like that of gold. So the onus sits on mood change. What will change the mood to one of greed? Oil, for lack of a better word, is good.
